SWIMMING WITH A SPECTACULAR VIEW

The three terraces on the ground floor do have a view over the swimming pool and the garden. The heated swimming pool of 11x4 meter has a specific Mediterranean colour, supported by spotlights in night time. One side of the swimming pool edge has an infinity image  that merges naturally  into the valley, the sea and the Ifach. The depth of the pool varies from 1.20 to1.85 meters. Next to the pool is an outdoor shower for hot water based on solar system. A separate toilet is located close to the swimming pool to avoid ‘wet’ people going into the house. 

TERRACES AT HIGH LEVEL

On the first floor of Villa Moraira you will find a covered lounge terrace and two separate dining terraces, covered by an adjustable  sunscreen and a parasol. One of them is provided with a gas BBQ.

At the lowest level of the garden is a petanque field.

ECOLOGY

Villa Moraira is very well isolated villa and is fully air-conditioned. Heating during winter months is provided by an underfloor heating system which is installed throughout the house. Each room has its own LCD-panel for easy climate control.

Villa Moraira is south oriented. However, due to the overhanging roof the sun does not shine into the house during summer, keeping it nice and cool. A small patio connected to the living room area ensures a pleasant cooling. In other seasons (when the position of the sun has changed), the sunshine does enter the house, and heats it. Electrical blinds in the living area and roll-down shutters in front of all other windows help to adjust the temperature in a natural way.

Due to high temperatures in the summer season, the house is designed to create natural shade. Three of the seven terraces are covered by an architecturally chosen method and four of them can be covered with  a sunscreen.

A superb LED lighting system throughout the house, garden, and swimming pool is installed. Since almost all lights are dimmable, it allows you to create the atmosphere you prefer.

The roof terrace  does have lounge couches, extra chairs and a large sunshade. It is an ideal and romantic place to enjoy sunset.

Flora

Villa Moraira, being constructed on a sloping plot, demands for a garden with many different levels. The vegetation is very divers, but generally of a subtropic kind. An automatic irrigation system ensures that the plants remain in good condition.
